Cookie policy

CallMeHot uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences and measure usage in aggregate form.

1. What cookies are

They are small files saved on your device by the browser. They can be session cookies (deleted on closing) or persistent.

2. Categories we use

• Technical / necessary: authentication, security (CSRF), session, theme preference. Essential: they do not require consent.
• Functional: they remember settings and interface choices.
• Statistical: they measure site usage in aggregate and pseudonymized form to improve the service. We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.), enabled only if you accept in the cookie banner: it collects statistical browsing data (pages viewed, device, approximate location). You can change your choice at any time from the «Cookie preferences» link at the bottom of every page.
• Internal statistics without cookies: we count page views and visitors with our own system that does not use cookies and does not store personal data. To avoid counting the same visit twice we use an anonymous fingerprint (IP address and browser mixed with a key that changes every day and is then deleted): it cannot identify you or follow you from one day to the next. We only store aggregate data such as page, source, country and device type.
• Sign-up source (cmh_src, cmh_src2, cmh_aff): first-party technical cookies that remember which site, campaign or affiliate you came from, to correctly attribute the sign-up and affiliate commissions. Maximum duration 180 days.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising. The payment processor CCBill may set cookies necessary for transaction security.

3. Managing cookies

You can manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may prevent login and payments from working properly.
